Effective date: April 6, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how our browser extensions handle information when they are installed and used. The purpose of this notice is to explain, in a clear and public way, what our extensions may access, what data may be stored, and how user privacy is treated across extensions published by us on browser extension marketplaces.
Our general approach is privacy-first. Most of our extensions are designed to work directly inside the browser and, in normal use, do not require users to create an account, submit personal identity details, or share unnecessary information with us. Where an extension needs limited browser access in order to function, that access is intended solely to provide the feature described on its store listing.
This policy applies to browser extensions that we publish, maintain, or distribute through extension platforms or related support pages. It explains our standard privacy practices for those extensions unless a particular extension states that additional or different terms apply.
This policy does not govern third-party websites, browser vendors, app stores, or services that may interact with the extension environment. Your browser provider and the websites you visit may apply their own privacy terms independently from us.
We do not build our extensions for advertising surveillance, personal profiling, or data resale. We do not sell user information, and we do not intentionally collect personal data unless it is reasonably necessary for support, security, or a feature that has been clearly disclosed.
For most extensions, functionality is performed locally in the browser. This means many extension actions happen on your own device without sending your information to us.
To preserve settings and improve usability, an extension may store limited information inside your browser or on your device. Depending on the extension, this may include:
This type of information is generally kept on your own device and remains under your control. It may be removed by clearing browser data, resetting the extension, or uninstalling the extension.
Some extensions may request browser permissions such as storage, activeTab, scripting,
or similar permissions that support the extension’s stated functionality.
For example, storage may allow an extension to remember your saved preferences.
activeTab may allow an extension to work with the tab you intentionally interact with.
scripting may be used when a feature needs to apply a user-requested effect or action on the current page.
We aim to request only permissions that are relevant to the extension’s purpose. Requested permissions are not intended for unrelated tracking, broad monitoring, or hidden commercial use.
In the ordinary course of use, our extensions generally do not require personal details such as your full name, mailing address, phone number, or account credentials in order to provide their main functions.
If you choose to contact us for support, we may receive information that you voluntarily provide, such as your email address and the contents of your message. We use that information only to respond, troubleshoot, maintain support records, or address misuse and security concerns where appropriate.
Unless an extension explicitly says otherwise, our extensions are generally intended to operate without transmitting personal information to our servers. In many cases, the extension works entirely within the local browser environment.
If an extension later includes online features such as API requests, synchronization, cloud processing, or remote storage, we may revise this policy or provide supplemental disclosure so users can understand:
We do not sell user data. We also do not disclose personal information to third parties for their independent advertising, behavioral marketing, or data brokerage purposes.
Our goal is to keep extension functionality focused on utility rather than monetization through user tracking.
An extension may interact with websites you choose to open in your browser, but those websites operate independently from us. Their own privacy practices, cookies, tracking tools, and terms are controlled by their respective operators.
Unless specifically disclosed for a particular extension, our extensions are not intended to include hidden third-party trackers, advertising SDKs, or undisclosed analytics components.
Because extension data is often stored locally rather than on our systems, retention is usually determined by your own browser environment. Local extension data may continue to exist until you remove it through browser settings, reset the extension, or uninstall it.
You are free to disable or remove any extension at any time through your browser’s extension management tools. You may also review and manage permissions through your browser settings.
We try to design our extensions so that they use limited access and avoid unnecessary data handling. Even so, no browser, software environment, network, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure in all situations.
Users should keep their browser updated, install extensions from trusted sources, and periodically review which extensions remain enabled.
Our extensions are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through ordinary extension use. If we learn that such information has been provided to us improperly, we will take reasonable steps to remove it where applicable.
People may access our extensions from different countries and jurisdictions. Where information is processed locally within the browser, that processing may be subject to the laws, platform rules, and browser policies applicable in the location where the extension is used.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in extension features, operational practices, legal requirements, or clearer disclosure standards.
When updates are made, the date shown at the top of this page will be adjusted accordingly. Continued use of an extension after an updated policy becomes effective may be interpreted as acceptance of the revised notice, where permitted by applicable law.
